My Country India is my country. It is a vast country of beautiful land and rivers. It lies in the Asian continent. It is the seventh largest country in the world. It extends from Kashmir in the north to Kanyakumari in south. About a hundred crore people live in India. It has rich fertile plains snow covered mountains, hot and dry deserts. Mighty rivers like the Ganga, Yamuna, Brahmaputra flow through India. India is a land of many lords and great people. It is the Motherland of land Rama, Lord Krishna, Lord Mahavira, Gautam, Buddha and Guru Nanak Dev. Great men like Swami Dayanand Saraswati, Swami Vivekanada, Ashoka and Mahatma Gandhi were born in India. Saints like, Kabir, Tulsi and Surdas were also born here. Many freedom fighters such as Subhash Chandra Bose, Rani Laxmi Bai, Bhagat Singh, Chandra Shekar Azad, Lala Lajpat Rai etc.. also took birth India. It is a land full of diversity. Many Languages are spoken in my country. All religions co-exist here together. All are bound by love for their mother land. I am proud of being an Indian .
